Wow... it has almost been six months!!

As I write this I cannot believe that it has already been almost six months that we have been blessed with Ayden's life!! Everyday is such a fun time with one another. He is growing by leaps and bounds it seems, he is learning to crawl at the moment he is doing this hopping thing with both of his legs, it is comical! We think that he is beginning to cut teeth, we have had a few whiny days, which is out of the ordinary, and a few days with a low grade fever and TONS of drool :) So we will see when they decide to actually cut threw; I am praying sooner than later!

Min has been working a bunch at the Lowe's here in town, which is a blessing to us right now! God has been so good to our family during these hard financial times; He continues to provide for our every need. What a great Lord we serve!! Ayden and I most days hang around the house here, it still seems really rainy here, which is a good thing but I am ready for outdoors weather!!

We have done some fun things around our house in the past month, we planted two trees, one in front and one in back... hopefully the one in back with time sill produce some nectarines for us this summer, we hope!! We have also planted a veggie garden on the side of our house... again we are not sure how to do anything like this but we were willing to try to see what would come of it! I began with some herbs on our kitchen window sill and well we kind of got more than excited when those grew so we are chancing it with a new little home garden!

We are publically dedicating Ayden to the Lord this Sunday, Mother's day! We are very excited about this!! Pictures will follow later on :)

Big boy rolls over!!!

Here is Ayden rolling over for the first time...well it was not the very first time but we got the video in like the first ten times he did it!! He is such a big boy and growing everyday!! We are just enjoying every moment with him... it is SO much fun being parents!!!

Three months old now!!!

Here are some recent pictures we have taken since we have been home from California!! Ayden is growing everyday; we see changes in him all the time!! SO much fun he is!!! he is learning to be on a nap schedule during the day, and going down for naps now with no crying!!! YEAH!!!! This is a huge praise the Lord in our household!!! While we were home Min's mom set up a 100 day celebration for Cousin Kara and Ayden, it is Korean tradition and it was great to experience this with Min's family!! Ayden's 100th day is coming soon, Feb. 27th. :)

Hello Family and Friends!!

Man it has been over a month since our last post and our little son has grown in incredible ways!!! We just got back from a great trip home to California and were blessed to spend time with family and friends that we have not seen in quite awhile. We were planning on being home for ten days but our while at home we really felt that we needed to extend our time there one more week. This was a great blessing to have even more time to see people and spend good amounts of time with people like my Nana, Ayden's great grandma, and Min's mom and dad. Ayden met a ton of new people while we were in CA!! He did so well!! Min and I both were not sure how he would do with others holding him and playing with him, but he was so personal with everyone and grinned much of our time there!! We are finding out more and more that we are very blessed to have a baby with a very good temperament, don't get me wrong he is fussy and gets mad here and there but really we have no complaints!! We got to see Ayden grow in so many ways the past month or so. He has fully began cooing and babbling, which is one of my favorite things yet!!! Oh, man there is nothing like your son talking to you in baby talk!!! We think that he s going to begin rolling over any day now, we were practicing tonight on our living room floor :) . He is now learning to play contently by himself after he has been fed. This gives us time to do things like take showers or eat a meal!!! Yeah for this!!! We also have watched him grow physically; at birth he was 6.9lbs, one month: 8.14 pounds, two months: 11.3 pounds, three months 14 pounds. He has already doubled his birth weight and is just continuing to put on that adorable baby fat!!! He is growing out of his clothes that he once did not even fit into, so sad but really exciting to watch the Lord grow this little boy off of breast milk alone!!
