We have had some busy months; I (Kimmy) have began nannying again in the afternoons, and have been taking Ayden with me, and seriously I have been SO tired from this transition. It has been a really good transition but if you know me, change good or bad is ALWAYS hard for me. :) We have been able to take some time lately to be outside with Ayden going to the park, taking walks, going to the zoo in Colombia, SC, doing an Easter egg hunt at church and just enjoying the beauty of Spring!! I love to watch all the trees bloom and change... I dislike all the pollen but hey what can you do. :) Hope you enjoy these pictures of our recent times together; we sure did. </div><div> </div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; We have been able to take the light rail uptown to Charlotte and enjoy an afternoon with great friends, Melissa and Clare, at the Imaginon Library. We have also been to the YMCA swimming with Melissa and Clare just yesterday, it was Ayden's first time and he loved every minute of it. I wish that I could have taken more pictures but seriously watching Ayden was the goal :) The ones I did snap are fun though!!<br />Melissa and Clare are friends that we have met through mutual friends! We have really enjoyed hanging out with them and enjoying new adventures together! Clare is one month older than Ayden and they are so close in age and play so well together it is really fun!! We are thankful for their lives and look forward to many more fun play dates!!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1suP89af2I/AAAAAAAAAk4/t1yg71-UM0k/s1600-h/IMG_9435.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1suP89af2I/AAAAAAAAAk4/t1yg71-UM0k/s200/IMG_9435.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429984627321896802" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1suyCMzp0I/AAAAAAAAAlA/FiYfFmLNNgU/s1600-h/IMG_9441.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1suyCMzp0I/AAAAAAAAAlA/FiYfFmLNNgU/s200/IMG_9441.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429985212844189506" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1st3PlLDYI/AAAAAAAAAkw/f4o0UdNhIK0/s1600-h/IMG_9434.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1st3PlLDYI/AAAAAAAAAkw/f4o0UdNhIK0/s200/IMG_9434.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429984202823765378" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1syHOeY6HI/AAAAAAAAAlQ/Ra_cMA82T20/s1600-h/IMG_9381.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1syHOeY6HI/AAAAAAAAAlQ/Ra_cMA82T20/s200/IMG_9381.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429988875451295858" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sta5gCPRI/AAAAAAAAAko/z22WKOB2xQ0/s1600-h/IMG_9397.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sta5gCPRI/AAAAAAAAAko/z22WKOB2xQ0/s200/IMG_9397.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429983715860299026" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1syw7aLbXI/AAAAAAAAAlY/mnrh4ep63yY/s1600-h/IMG_9395.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 186px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1syw7aLbXI/AAAAAAAAAlY/mnrh4ep63yY/s200/IMG_9395.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429989591887867250" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1ss_PivwOI/AAAAAAAAAkg/Y7s2LZNsq-A/s1600-h/IMG_9396.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1ss_PivwOI/AAAAAAAAAkg/Y7s2LZNsq-A/s200/IMG_9396.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429983240740913378" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sn6styqRI/AAAAAAAAAjo/mKygn3BG6yE/s1600-h/IMG_9394.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sn6styqRI/AAAAAAAAAjo/mKygn3BG6yE/s200/IMG_9394.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429977665114384658" border="0" /></a>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-55467213543456660562010-01-23T07:42:00.000-08:002010-01-23T09:06:19.556-08:00Christmas time is here!!!We had a wonderful, quiet Christmas with just the three of us! Ayden had his first cold the week of Christmas but thankfully it was not bad and was over by the end of the week! We were so thankful for the gift of Jesus this Christmas and reminded again to remember His gift of salvation not just on Christmas day but everyday of the year!<br />We had a fun morning opening presents and stockings, watching the Christmas parade; I cooked and baked all afternoon which was really fun for me, and we ended the day with a yummy dinner with Danny and Jacqui and the Nativity Story movie afterwards!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1srXUKznPI/AAAAAAAAAkQ/t0W8F6XoFk0/s1600-h/IMG_9298.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1srXUKznPI/AAAAAAAAAkQ/t0W8F6XoFk0/s200/IMG_9298.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429981455276285170" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sr_1-FsrI/AAAAAAAAAkY/n4VdgdwjAJo/s1600-h/IMG_9334.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sr_1-FsrI/AAAAAAAAAkY/n4VdgdwjAJo/s200/IMG_9334.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429982151544517298" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1spDL606xI/AAAAAAAAAj4/DJ6YyXOPKo4/s1600-h/IMG_9301.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1spDL606xI/AAAAAAAAAj4/DJ6YyXOPKo4/s200/IMG_9301.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429978910441138962" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sp9VJuYjI/AAAAAAAAAkA/jtiEzun4v1k/s1600-h/IMG_9303.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sp9VJuYjI/AAAAAAAAAkA/jtiEzun4v1k/s200/IMG_9303.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429979909351957042" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sqXh533yI/AAAAAAAAAkI/rLGImJLd9G0/s1600-h/IMG_9321.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sqXh533yI/AAAAAAAAAkI/rLGImJLd9G0/s200/IMG_9321.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429980359451729698" border="0" /></a>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-51562226838640658202010-01-23T06:27:00.000-08:002010-01-23T07:19:20.540-08:00Oh my, Oh my, has it been a long time...Updates and more updates, that is my goal as I post this!! I am SO sorry, to all our friends and family that regularly look at our web page, that we have taken a vacation from blogging and updating you about our lives. We have had some really busy months with Ayden's Birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. I hope that the pictures themselves will bless you as you view them! We are continually being blessed by the Lord and reminded daily that He alone is in control of our lives, finances, needs, health, etc.<br />All these pictures are from Christmas and Ayden's birthday! We were very blessed to have Min's mom come and stay with us for 10 days! She cooked amazing food and just had a wonderful time together with us and Ayden too. She loves loves her grandson, as do his other grandparents; it was a great time together!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Baking with mommy!<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sREl9cQ-I/AAAAAAAAAjQ/i8FL5EiuK-s/s1600-h/IMG_9255.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sREl9cQ-I/AAAAAAAAAjQ/i8FL5EiuK-s/s200/IMG_9255.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429952546332230626" border="0" /></a><br />Time as a family at the Billy Graham Library celebrating Christmas!!<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sQI_h2nyI/AAAAAAAAAjA/hVT5yaZR5KU/s1600-h/IMG_9220.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sQI_h2nyI/AAAAAAAAAjA/hVT5yaZR5KU/s200/IMG_9220.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429951522403688226" border="0" /></a><br />Our Christmas tree!<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sPsXvnPFI/AAAAAAAAAi4/1QGIZFL6Xlg/s1600-h/IMG_9115.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/S1sPsXvnPFI/AAAAAAAAAi4/1QGIZFL6Xlg/s200/IMG_9115.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429951030687644754" border="0" /></a><br />Ayden learning how to decorate, and to not take ornaments off once they are on the tree! The leaves are really changing here lately and can I just say that I LOVE Fall! Except for the time change situation; anyone who has babies or kids knows that they do not observe the whole time change concept therefore getting up an hour earlier than usual and being hungry an hour earlier as well. This I have found does not iron itself out for a few days... but they are still FUN days together :). Min and I too have really felt the day light savings this year; we are both ready for bed at 9pm! Maybe we are just getting old; who knows :)<br />We are enjoying the Fall days together and the nice chilly weather too; I cannot speak for Min as he is out in the elements daily but for Ayden and I it is really nice to be all cozy warm in the house when it's cold outside. We were able to take Ayden to the Pumpkin patch for his first time last Sunday. We left our house as the sun was going down and got there in enough time to pick our pumpkins, take bunches of pictures and have lots of fun before it got dark. Ayden loved the pumpkins and most of all he LOVED riding in a wagon; that is what we used to pick and pull our pumpkins around. We were just happy to have family time together and laugh in the beauty that God has created!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SvHuCsiLiiI/AAAAAAAAAfo/qfMubv2wujo/s1600-h/IMG_8388.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SvHuCsiLiiI/AAAAAAAAAfo/qfMubv2wujo/s200/IMG_8388.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400359158275607074" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SvHtegDlFZI/AAAAAAAAAfg/kN3jJjoabfg/s1600-h/IMG_8392.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SvHtegDlFZI/AAAAAAAAAfg/kN3jJjoabfg/s200/IMG_8392.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400358536450741650" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">We carved our pumpkins mid week and Min and I did ours one night and then the next day we did Ayden's little one. I cannot believe that it is already October 20<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">th</span>. Where has October gone already. I told Min last night that I feel like yesterday should have been Oct 1st. I think that as <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Ayden's</span> 1st Birthday draws near the time in our household seems to fly by even faster than usual... this makes me happy yet sad that our baby boy is turning one! Happy in many ways but sad that the first year and all the fun milestones; I have been told though time and time again that it gets better with every day, month, year... and we anticipate that very much!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/St3dvdVoG2I/AAAAAAAAAeo/JgSMnEO87TM/s1600-h/IMG_8145.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/St3dvdVoG2I/AAAAAAAAAeo/JgSMnEO87TM/s200/IMG_8145.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394711736058649442" border="0" /></a>In the last month and a half or so, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Ayden</span> has grown bunches. He is now walking, as of the last two and a half weeks, and has began to mimic us in words and sounds, actions and giggles!! He is too funny when we are laughing about something he will just break out in laughter. :) His personality is continuing to develop in ways that we just love and he is beginning to learn more and more the word no-no; for the most part he is a very good listener, and we are thankful for that... but we know the two's await us. :)<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/St3gHKQg7zI/AAAAAAAAAew/sDlMB_BdiRQ/s1600-h/IMG_8151.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/St3gHKQg7zI/AAAAAAAAAew/sDlMB_BdiRQ/s200/IMG_8151.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394714342277050162" border="0" /></a><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Ayden</span> loves to walk!! He loves to hold toys or really anything in his little hands as he walks in circles around our couches and kitchen! He lately has become obsessed with our bedroom because Daddy's computer is in there and he loves to play with the keys on the keyboard and mouse. His room is straight down the hall from ours and when we leave his room he 9 times out of 10 makes a MAD dash for our bedroom, even if the door is closed he will attempt to push it open in hopes for some computer time :) I love these moments because we see his personality even more.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/St3mbkox6VI/AAAAAAAAAfI/cOHE6RTVvvk/s1600-h/IMG_8258.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/St3mbkox6VI/AAAAAAAAAfI/cOHE6RTVvvk/s200/IMG_8258.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394721290025298258" border="0" /></a>Last week because of the rainy weather conditions Min was able to be home early from work a few days and this was really a fun time for the three of us! We are so thankful for God's timing and just the ability to take time together!! We traveled to VA in six and a half hours, the drive was great and Ayden slept like a champ!! We were blessed to stay right in Colonial Williamsburg, which was neat because everything was really in walking/shuttle distance. The first night we just hung out and had pizza; we walked around the shopping part of the area and came back pretty early so Ayden could get a good night's sleep. We had not slept with Ayden in the same room as us for a long time and we were not too sure how hw would be and if he would lay down. So we laid him down shut out all the lights and laid down ourselves until we knew he was asleep. He did okay and we were able to put lights back on while he was sleeping. He was a trooper the entire weekend!!<br />Saturday morning we had the bet continental breakfast I have ever had, it was quite the spread, and I went to watch the kids from the Army Retreat for the morning, while Ayden napped and Min hung out in the room.<br />It was a really neat experience for me to meet kids from different families; there was one family with nine children. I spoke with them and their mom (dad was deployeed) and found out that they were believers!! It was really neat chatting with the kids, and playing games with them. There were a total of fifteen kids and four adults. We were with them both Saturday and Sunday morning and I had a blast meeting them as well as the other ladies who were watching them. The Chaplin that was holding the retreat for the families was a Christian and had the couples/spouses watch Fireproof and even send them home with a copy. I was encouraged at the retreat knowing that they were learning Christian values for their marriages and families!<br />Saturday afternoon we met up with our friends Harry Howard and Katrina! It was such a blessing to see them both again. We saw them during our time in DC last year as well and times with them are always fun and full of laughs! Harry was in our wedding and has been a good friend since high school to Min and I, and we are thankful that we have met Katrina through Harry! We also loved that Ayden was able to meet them!! He loved hanging out with them!!! :)<br />Sunday after watching the kids once again we headed to Jamestown to watch them blow glass and to maybe finds an adventure there. :) We enjoyed our time there; saw the water, ships and some other neat things. After that we ate some lunch and traveled home. We were really blessed by the time away and the weekend that was provided for us with the retreat. I look forward to more opportunities like this maybe in the future... who knows.<br />Min began his new job two days after we got home and it has been going well for him! He is learning new things, meeting new people and I think overall he is very thankful and blessed by this job that the Lord has provided for our family!<br />This is just a side note but our good friend Brian Douglas had been deployed in Iraq for the last four months and his wife Kimberly and I are in a weekly Bible study together; he just got to come home for tow weeks and a little r&r. We were so blessed to see him and spend time with him!! We are hopefully going to have them over for a Korean meal this weekend! I will take pictures then and post them later :) We praise the Lord that He has kept Brian safe in a distant land and that He has given him strength to fight well for our country!!<br />A little update on our growing boy... I took him to the doctor this past Friday 8/28/09 and he is 29 inches long, almost 21 pounds heavy. Min and I were convinced that he would weigh more but we were wrong. :) Ayden is doing well he had a wonderful checkup and the doc said that his top gums were swollen so that means we have more teeth on the way shortly!! He is growing physically and in personality everyday!! We just are so in love with this little boy of ours!!<br />We pray this finds you each doing well and thanks again for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers!!!<br /><br />Love,<br />Kimmy and the boys :)Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-79799013246436143482009-08-13T17:44:00.000-07:002009-08-13T19:11:30.967-07:00A long Silence<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Hi there all,</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369631784708073410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SoTDqJ4r58I/AAAAAAAAAcY/koMEbAuYaWo/s200/IMG_7329.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369624416880988370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SoS89Sl0kNI/AAAAAAAAAcA/1JUbTBzhj_o/s200/IMG_7152.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div>I am sorry for the long period of not having time to sit down and blog about our lives. We have doors that close off the rooms and bathrooms so really that just lets him explore, which is FUN for him and us! Min is already working at Lowe's here in Indian Trail but it is not full time work. So really over the last two months I have found nanny jobs and interviewed probably at least fifteen times, and well none have worked out. Some were not willing to pay a decent amount for the job they were asking to be done and other families didn't like something about me or my philosophy of children. I have been trying to keep encouraged and persevere and remember that if the Lord wants it, it will be! So Danny Williams, he is Min's best friend and our family here in NC; Danny has been working at a new company and told Min a few weeks back that there should be an opening for a job, he just didn't know when. Well as we all know when there is not full time work the money in bank accounts can easily run low due to bills, etc. And Min and I both know that we needed to have something in place sooner than later, and my interviews had be flopping and we had this glimmer of a hope of a job for Min just no start date. Well last week Mark (another worker for CSI: the company) called Min and told him to go down to their office and fill out paperwork and do a background check and drug test. Well Min came home Monday 8/10/09 with papers that looked like he had been hired, we just had again no start date, which in construction you never know things could happen and they not need him anymore. So we have been praying all week and really since January when min left Trio-K, that the Lord would open doors and provide for us. And may I take a moment and tell you that in the last eight months we have seen the Hand of God Provide for us in multiple ways. I will tell you a brief story that took place a few months back...<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369632197148129730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SoTECKWDucI/AAAAAAAAAcg/wNcHxjDp9Qs/s200/IMG_7383.JPG" border="0" /></div><div>I was nursing Ayden and Min was just hanging out in the living room, well while feeding Ayden I was praying for the little things that were needs for us, like diapers and asking the Lord to continue to provide. Well as Ayden finishes, he and I make our way out to the living room and a friend of Min's had stopped by, someone he had not seen in like a year. He has come by to meet and see Ayden and brought size 3 diapers, the size that Ayden was in at the time. And seriously I almost cried then and I tear up now just thinking about the fact that the Lord is the Provider in all of life and how He so loves and cares about us and meets out needs, not always our wants, but ALWAYS our needs! He alone get the glory!!</div><br /><div>Ok so back to the job story, sorry for the sidenote. Min got called tonight, while working at Lowe's, and was told that he would start Wednesday of next week 8/19/09. One day after our two year Wedding Anniversary!! Min text messaged me this news tonight and I just looked at Ayden and said we need to praise the Lord!! For He has provided again and will continue to do so in our lives!! SO we are blessed to share that good news with you that the Lord has opened a door and allowed Min to walk through!! Please pray that Min would learn quickly and that the Lord would be glorified in him as he uses his hands and feet to provide for our family!<br /></div><div>We also are very blessed to be able to go to Williamsburg, VA this weekend! I have had contact over the last couple of months with a nanny agency here in NC, and they do childcare on the weekends sometimes for military marriage conferences. In the past months I have told Christine that I would love to do it and to keep me informed about opportunities. Well last week this time I got an email saying that there was a conference in Williamsburg, VA and that our room, food gas, mileage and hourly pay would be included. I quickly emailed back and let her know that I would love to, in hopes that Ayden and Min could join me... I talked with her on Sunday night and she told me that they could come and we would have our own room!! SO we get to go away this weekend, and really get a blessing again from the Lord, through this opportunity! We are going just in time to celebrate two wonderful years of marriage and a beautiful family that the Lord has blessed us with! Seriously as I type this I am just blessed beyond!! I promise to take lots of pictures and post them shortly after we return! Please pray for traveling mercies as it is a six hour drive, with Ayden in the back :)<br /></div><div>We are so blessed by family and friends, here in NC and at home in CA too! We find ourselves blessed everyday by God's Hand in our lives and hope that you can find that blessing too!!<br /></div><div>Much love to you!!</div><div>Kimmy and the boys :)</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-54657174288842865672009-07-03T17:21:00.000-07:002009-07-03T18:24:31.760-07:00Happy 4th of July!!!!<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6nduUd94I/AAAAAAAAAaY/4kXPZAN-_ig/s1600-h/IMG_6752.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354401136082024322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6nduUd94I/AAAAAAAAAaY/4kXPZAN-_ig/s200/IMG_6752.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6mx-HYv3I/AAAAAAAAAaQ/jPm-yi9a5qQ/s1600-h/IMG_6658.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354400384407879538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6mx-HYv3I/AAAAAAAAAaQ/jPm-yi9a5qQ/s200/IMG_6658.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6jwhoYs1I/AAAAAAAAAZo/uW1RRuwrCbU/s1600-h/IMG_6547.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354397061046907730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6jwhoYs1I/AAAAAAAAAZo/uW1RRuwrCbU/s200/IMG_6547.JPG" border="0" /></a>Well, the 4<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">th</span> of July is really not until tomorrow, but it is everyday that we have our freedom, and that gives us something to be thankful for EVERYDAY!!! We have freedom to worship the Lord freely in this country and we as a family are thankful for that; we are thankful to all the men and women through the years that have given their lives and served time in the military. For our freedom they have fought; may we be reminded to remember them today!<br /><div><div><div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354406356287591138" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6sNlGdkuI/AAAAAAAAAbA/-yEdIJJEc8w/s200/IMG_6970.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354405764812382770" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6rrJryIjI/AAAAAAAAAa4/pprhrJ0qRSM/s200/IMG_6928.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354398272777598306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6k3DrftWI/AAAAAAAAAZw/G2snuPFK6zA/s200/IMG_6582.JPG" border="0" /> We are looking forward to tomorrow, we are having a potluck with some friends; it should be a great time. Our friends the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Deese's</span> just had their little boy Hunter on June 1, and our other friends the Brigg's are due to have their little boy <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">any day</span> now. So <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Ayden</span> is going to have some buddies to play with here in a few months!! Exciting times!!<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354398819979343554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6lW6KjtsI/AAAAAAAAAZ4/LFkmIpdjULQ/s200/IMG_6625.JPG" border="0" /> We have had a good month and a half. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Ayden</span> has cut his first two teeth; he cut the first and then a week later we saw the second poking through. He has had some really fussy moments but all really due to the pain of teething. We cannot seem to <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">photograph</span> his teeth quite yet but soon enough there will be some pictures up with some <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">teethies</span> :)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354399261321468322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6lwmSuGaI/AAAAAAAAAaA/eLGqgZTjXM4/s200/IMG_6649.JPG" border="0" /> </div><div>Min had his 1st Father's Day on June 21st! It was a nice day, we went to church and had lunch at the William's house. Min had to work at 3pm so we ate a later dinner. He liked it, it was steak and really we are not steak eaters, except on special occasions and well this was a special day for a very special Daddy and husband!! Min is a wonderful father to Ayden and I just cannot wait until Ayden gets older and can verbally tell Min that he is thankful that God choose Min to be his daddy!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354403124211251650" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6pRcraecI/AAAAAAAAAao/v1zHyNvtWN0/s200/IMG_6854.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354403989238030562" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6qDzJ3oOI/AAAAAAAAAaw/h6TOUX_6ZJ0/s200/IMG_6888.JPG" border="0" /></div><div>We took <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">Ayden</span> to the Park for the very first time a few days ago and he loved the swing!! He really just likes to be outside and listen to the birds and take in nature. He is learning to pull up and stand on his own and while we were at the park he stood solo for about 5-10 seconds, we are <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">guesstimating</span> :) But it is so exciting that he is getting brave about trying new things. He has began, for about three weeks now, to babble TONS!! Sometimes Min and I look at each other and wonder if he is always going to be chatty. We won't mind at all, I am pretty chatty so Min is used to it :) He began by saying ma-ma, when his teeth hurts him he would make a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">mmmm</span> sound and then learned to say mama! And just the last week he has <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">said</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11">da</span>-<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12">da</span>, which is SO fun for Min!! If we ask <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_13">Ayden</span> to say Hi Dada, he will mimic us, he is really learning and it is just too much fun to be a part of his life!! We are truly blessed!!<br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354399839852716482" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/Sk6mSRfUYcI/AAAAAAAAAaI/oFUFDOm_YoU/s200/IMG_6662.JPG" border="0" /> We hope you enjoy the picture updates and pray that you and your families have a wonderful <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14">Independence</span> Day!! We have an amazing pastor who shepard's our church and he prayed with the group of us dedicating our children before the service and I was just blessed, so blessed by his prayer and view of children! Children are a gift, truly a gift for the Lord and many times in the day in day out it is easy to miss the actuality of that statement! Ayden is a gift to us and we have been well aware of that from the moment we found out we were going to have a child, but the reminder of it is always challenging and good for a parents soul!! There are some pictures below to show the part of the service when the dedication took place; there were six boys and one little girl dedicated. It was a really neat opportunity and we are really just blessed by the church that the Lord has brought us to.<br /></div><br /><p align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTTgIVMZdI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/3icZXrJtHr4/s1600-h/IMG_6384.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338124007286531538" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTTgIVMZdI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/3icZXrJtHr4/s200/IMG_6384.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTVlJ8wbyI/AAAAAAAAAYg/jlVv5r4UeZ8/s1600-h/IMG_6392.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338126292643508002" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTVlJ8wbyI/AAAAAAAAAYg/jlVv5r4UeZ8/s200/IMG_6392.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTT7G95DhI/AAAAAAAAAYY/aksrZba5FjE/s1600-h/IMG_6389.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338124470776827410" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTT7G95DhI/AAAAAAAAAYY/aksrZba5FjE/s200/IMG_6389.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><br /><div align="center">In other news our family is doing well. We are praying through the different work situations that are at hand and asking the Lord to lead us and show us which way to go... if you think of us please just pray for us and others who are struggling financially during this season, that the Lord would continue to meet our needs! He is also beginning to push up to a sitting position, which is crazy to see him learn that all by himself!! Tonight we had some really close friends stop by for just a short visit and their little boy is 14 months(Wyatt). Ayden and Wyatt played on the floor and Ayden just ate him up, in a very good way... he just loves being around other babies/kids!! He would just laugh and giggle at Wyatt and was just happy :) He is generally a very happy boy but tonight it was just a blessing to see him interact so positively with another child near his age! We are looking forward to Summer coming and the rain here ending so that we can make our way to the park and meet other friends for Ayden to play with!<br /></p><br /><br /><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTZ67-fdVI/AAAAAAAAAZQ/t02w9ui4fBQ/s1600-h/IMG_6460.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338131064896320850" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTZ67-fdVI/AAAAAAAAAZQ/t02w9ui4fBQ/s200/IMG_6460.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTZg_w66aI/AAAAAAAAAZI/waNShKH-isc/s1600-h/IMG_6457.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338130619236542882" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTZg_w66aI/AAAAAAAAAZI/waNShKH-isc/s200/IMG_6457.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></p><br /><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTalvbQAnI/AAAAAAAAAZY/NcQnU5zaJ3M/s1600-h/IMG_6478.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338131800261657202" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTalvbQAnI/AAAAAAAAAZY/NcQnU5zaJ3M/s200/IMG_6478.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Today we tried to give Ayden some pureed mangoes and he was not to keen about the taste...we are going to try again tomorrow as we have been told that multiple tries makes them at least be open to having foods that are not their favorite at first. :) I am posting some pictures of the faces he made today because they are just hilarious; he is a fun boy!!</p><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTc7ss0XJI/AAAAAAAAAZg/Fk67rITt0Pw/s1600-h/IMG_6519.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338134376510413970" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/ShTc7ss0XJI/AAAAAAAAAZg/Fk67rITt0Pw/s200/IMG_6519.JPG" border="0" /></a></p></div></div></div></div></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-67234813065321754312009-05-08T04:49:00.001-07:002009-05-08T17:58:18.465-07:00Wow... it has almost been six months!!<div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQpfRJFSCI/AAAAAAAAAXw/OlFabDbcYO4/s1600-h/IMG_6088.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333433475867691042" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQpfRJFSCI/AAAAAAAAAXw/OlFabDbcYO4/s200/IMG_6088.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQof0p9v5I/AAAAAAAAAXo/Cwf_tDACtyQ/s1600-h/IMG_6073.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333432385889222546" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQof0p9v5I/AAAAAAAAAXo/Cwf_tDACtyQ/s200/IMG_6073.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQn56cX74I/AAAAAAAAAXg/OXJYI_sZW4M/s1600-h/IMG_6055.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333431734607802242" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQn56cX74I/AAAAAAAAAXg/OXJYI_sZW4M/s200/IMG_6055.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /></div><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQnbHx-krI/AAAAAAAAAXY/vcU08KHnHYQ/s1600-h/IMG_6036.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333431205612130994" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQnbHx-krI/AAAAAAAAAXY/vcU08KHnHYQ/s200/IMG_6036.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQm3Rx0xtI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/98ELJNMPcXU/s1600-h/IMG_6022.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333430589820552914" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQm3Rx0xtI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/98ELJNMPcXU/s200/IMG_6022.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333423326136380578" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQgQeckLKI/AAAAAAAAAWQ/FdVg0exU1IU/s200/IMG_5575.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />As I write this I cannot believe that it has already been almost six months that we have been blessed with Ayden's life!! Everyday is such a fun time with one another. He is growing by leaps and bounds it seems, he is learning to crawl at the moment he is doing this hopping thing with both of his legs, it is comical! We think that he is beginning to cut teeth, we have had a few whiny days, which is out of the ordinary, and a few days with a low grade fever and TONS of drool :) So we will see when they decide to actually cut threw; I am praying sooner than later!<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQi0WwYAjI/AAAAAAAAAWo/9K86ogG4sTY/s1600-h/ayden+jumper.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333426141570531890" style="WIDTH: 201px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 141px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQi0WwYAjI/AAAAAAAAAWo/9K86ogG4sTY/s200/ayden+jumper.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQijxyLaFI/AAAAAAAAAWg/hbkTW5_16PI/s1600-h/ayden+grass.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333425856768075858" style="WIDTH: 207px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 142px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SgQijxyLaFI/AAAAAAAAAWg/hbkTW5_16PI/s200/ayden+grass.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><br /><div>Min has been working a bunch at the Lowe's here in town, which is a blessing to us right now! We just got back from a great trip home to California and were blessed to spend time with family and friends that we have not seen in quite awhile. We were planning on being home for ten days but our while at home we really felt that we needed to extend our time there one more week. This was a great blessing to have even more time to see people and spend good amounts of time with people like my Nana, Ayden's great grandma, and Min's mom and dad. Ayden met a ton of new people while we were in CA!! He did so well!! Min and I both were not sure how he would do with others holding him and playing with him, but he was so personal with everyone and grinned much of our time there!! We are finding out more and more that we are very blessed to have a baby with a very good temperament, don't get me wrong he is fussy and gets mad here and there but really we have no complaints!! We got to see Ayden grow in so many ways the past month or so. He has fully began cooing and babbling, which is one of my favorite things yet!!! Oh, man there is nothing like your son talking to you in baby talk!!! We think that he s going to begin rolling over any day now, we were practicing tonight on our living room floor :) . He is now learning to play contently by himself after he has been fed. This gives us time to do things like take showers or eat a meal!!! Yeah for this!!! We also have watched him grow physically; at birth he was 6.9lbs, one month: 8.14 pounds, two months: 11.3 pounds, three months 14 pounds. He has already doubled his birth weight and is just continuing to put on that adorable baby fat!!! He is growing out of his clothes that he once did not even fit into, so sad but really exciting to watch the Lord grow this little boy off of breast milk alone!! Well, just wanted to do a quick update with pictures and a brief note to send our love your way!!! We pray that each of you is doing well and look forward to talking personally with you soon!!</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-91351424135502263452008-12-29T17:18:00.000-08:002009-01-10T21:07:16.431-08:00Happy New Year!!!!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlmIwMGQUI/AAAAAAAAAOw/acF1SZomqfk/s1600-h/IMG_4362.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289871537883988290" style="WIDTH: 144px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlmIwMGQUI/AAAAAAAAAOw/acF1SZomqfk/s200/IMG_4362.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlhX-qIcRI/AAAAAAAAAOY/6-LxYLQ7wXY/s1600-h/IMG_4241.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289866301907955986" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlhX-qIcRI/AAAAAAAAAOY/6-LxYLQ7wXY/s200/IMG_4241.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWliWZKog1I/AAAAAAAAAOg/vcHQ07LHH5c/s1600-h/IMG_4342+(3).JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289867374175486802" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWliWZKog1I/AAAAAAAAAOg/vcHQ07LHH5c/s200/IMG_4342+(3).JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Hello all,<br /><br /><br />This update should have happened about two weeks ago, but we have just been busier than normal, as we are learning to take care of Ayden and still have normal life continue on...laundry, meals, sleep, work, etc. :) Ayden is doing well and growing like a weed. I took him to a lactation consultant when he was six weeks old, just to see how much milk he was receiving at each feeding, and in the first six weeks of his life he gained 3 pounds!!!! He is a great eater and he is gaining weight really well, which makes us happy and feel good about how we are scheduling his feedings. Ayden is now in his seventh week of life and it is crazy to think that in nine days he will already be two months old!! Time really does fly!!! We will take him for his two month Doc appt. on Jan. 21st right before we head home to California for a visit!!<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlnXVpNkqI/AAAAAAAAAO4/P6TUqD-Yw10/s1600-h/IMG_4389.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289872887968010914" style="WIDTH: 132px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 180px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlnXVpNkqI/AAAAAAAAAO4/P6TUqD-Yw10/s200/IMG_4389.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlpcWpgwsI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/ZYTfj9YB-Iw/s1600-h/IMG_4449.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289875173160305346" style="WIDTH: 166px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 123px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlpcWpgwsI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/ZYTfj9YB-Iw/s200/IMG_4449.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlotwGC5ZI/AAAAAAAAAPI/GERmoNjh64s/s1600-h/IMG_4437.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289874372537017746" style="WIDTH: 133px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 188px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlotwGC5ZI/AAAAAAAAAPI/GERmoNjh64s/s200/IMG_4437.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlqDBbANdI/AAAAAAAAAPY/XKXhwTH5poQ/s1600-h/IMG_4454.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289875837477205458" style="WIDTH: 134px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 185px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlqDBbANdI/AAAAAAAAAPY/XKXhwTH5poQ/s200/IMG_4454.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlrUTq4bYI/AAAAAAAAAPo/gli3NGoLc7w/s1600-h/IMG_4474.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289877233945046402" style="WIDTH: 174px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 128px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlrUTq4bYI/AAAAAAAAAPo/gli3NGoLc7w/s200/IMG_4474.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlqr7NAi6I/AAAAAAAAAPg/N58WemGEOqU/s1600-h/IMG_4458.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289876540182530978" style="WIDTH: 143px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 199px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlqr7NAi6I/AAAAAAAAAPg/N58WemGEOqU/s200/IMG_4458.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlr3tbbixI/AAAAAAAAAPw/XJSgBQqDBqs/s1600-h/IMG_4484.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289877842154982162" style="WIDTH: 178px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 135px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlr3tbbixI/AAAAAAAAAPw/XJSgBQqDBqs/s200/IMG_4484.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlslQwtR3I/AAAAAAAAAP4/HxK64thgIcg/s1600-h/IMG_4496.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289878624733579122" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlslQwtR3I/AAAAAAAAAP4/HxK64thgIcg/s200/IMG_4496.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWltROlGY4I/AAAAAAAAAQA/_XKpPxMhGbY/s1600-h/IMG_4513.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289879380062266242" style="WIDTH: 181px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 140px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWltROlGY4I/AAAAAAAAAQA/_XKpPxMhGbY/s200/IMG_4513.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />We were blessed to have my mom (grandma Hantz) here for Christmas!! She enjoyed Ayden a bunch and found it hard to depart when the time arrived. While she was here we spent a lot of time in the house, which was kind of a bummer, but with a newborn who feeds seven times a day what can you do. We did get out to a few places though that we really wanted her to see while she was here. We drove about three hours to a city called Ashville to spend some time at the Grove Park Inn. This is a hotel, a very ritzy hotel, that has a gingerbread house contest that is really really cool to see. And the hotel is decked out in Christmas decorations too which is just really fun!!! You can see in our pictures that the houses were really well done and the people that made them spanned from children to adult, which I think is neat!! We also took her to meet the family that I have worked for before Ayden was born. She was blessed to meet the two girls, Elizabeth and Sarah, that I nannied for over a year and their mom Betsy and dad Cape. We took her to eat at some good restaurants here that we only have seen here in NC, such as Cracker Barrel and McAlister's Deli. She loved holding Ayden and taking part in things like baths and changing his diaper, oh the things you enjoy again when your kids are all grown. :) For Christmas we hung around and none of us got out of our pj's the entire day... we cooked and ate yummy food and just enjoyed time together and with the Lord! We enjoyed our time with her and we look forward to seeing her again as the Lord wills.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWluaXTDY3I/AAAAAAAAAQI/kfpYbKnSGKs/s1600-h/IMG_4529.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289880636532941682" style="WIDTH: 143px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 186px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWluaXTDY3I/AAAAAAAAAQI/kfpYbKnSGKs/s200/IMG_4529.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlveXMv2jI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/cCCw5JlJ-j0/s1600-h/IMG_4566.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289881804737600050" style="WIDTH: 136px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 185px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlveXMv2jI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/cCCw5JlJ-j0/s200/IMG_4566.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlwAsFV-QI/AAAAAAAAAQY/pxUB4u1siW8/s1600-h/IMG_4577.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289882394459240706" style="WIDTH: 142px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 191px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlwAsFV-QI/AAAAAAAAAQY/pxUB4u1siW8/s200/IMG_4577.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />A quick update on Ayden... in the last two weeks he has really been cooing more and more and after I feed him and lay him on his changing table he and I will talk and Min and I just smile as we watch him find out that he has a voice! He has also had two nights of where he slept seven hours between feedings, Amen!!!!! I don't count on this as routine yet but we are getting closer to him sleeping longer and longer at night time. During the day Ayden still fights sleep and we are working on getting his naps in place during the day. :) Ayden can lift his head by himself, you will see in some of the pictures, Min calls him his Super Her-o. We love watching his little personality develop, he is giggling more and smiling a whole lot, we are still not sure if his smiles are gas or him really smiling :) We are truly enjoying every moment, even the fussy times, and just feel incredibly blessed to have him as our son!!<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlwk1oCE5I/AAAAAAAAAQg/KGsz90lVwLU/s1600-h/IMG_4588.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289883015495947154" style="WIDTH: 186px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 137px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlwk1oCE5I/AAAAAAAAAQg/KGsz90lVwLU/s200/IMG_4588.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlyDHdFw3I/AAAAAAAAAQw/OhJyFt7jXzk/s1600-h/IMG_4623.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289884635189592946" style="WIDTH: 136px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 189px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlyDHdFw3I/AAAAAAAAAQw/OhJyFt7jXzk/s200/IMG_4623.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlxZVismSI/AAAAAAAAAQo/Hx3nYg7bF1M/s1600-h/IMG_4606.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289883917416700194" style="WIDTH: 184px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 137px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlxZVismSI/AAAAAAAAAQo/Hx3nYg7bF1M/s200/IMG_4606.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><p align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWly1EbYSgI/AAAAAAAAAQ4/K-TlVvFlB3E/s1600-h/IMG_4654.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289885493370571266" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWly1EbYSgI/AAAAAAAAAQ4/K-TlVvFlB3E/s200/IMG_4654.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlzr0SlZzI/AAAAAAAAARA/D3lO3bI657E/s1600-h/IMG_4663.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289886433931519794" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SWlzr0SlZzI/AAAAAAAAARA/D3lO3bI657E/s200/IMG_4663.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></p>We hope that you enjoy the pictures and videos we post, we sure enjoy taking them of him. I was planning to post about two weeks another picture of my belly at 37 weeks, and well my plans were changed as our son arrived a week or so earlier than expected!! We are more than blessed to announce Ayden's arrival on November 19, 2008 at 7:49pm, that is East coast time. :) We have had a wonderful ten days so far getting to know Ayden and love him to pieces as we figure out what it means to care for e newborn. Min has been INCREDIBLE, and I don't mean that lightly. While we were in the hospital I didn't change one diaper, he has been amazing as a husband and a dad from the time that he knew I was beginning labor. Okay so I guess the story of his arrival is at hand... FYI there will be things shared that are personal so get ready :)</div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbrASphT_I/AAAAAAAAAMI/plNpBsiuSfA/s1600-h/IMG_3898.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275662403749629938" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbrASphT_I/AAAAAAAAAMI/plNpBsiuSfA/s200/IMG_3898.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbsMVfAQkI/AAAAAAAAAMQ/LUeimgHfHNw/s1600-h/IMG_3919.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275663710180885058" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbsMVfAQkI/AAAAAAAAAMQ/LUeimgHfHNw/s200/IMG_3919.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbsyGMVxSI/AAAAAAAAAMY/b8MbwVEBcVY/s1600-h/IMG_3946.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275664358911100194" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbsyGMVxSI/AAAAAAAAAMY/b8MbwVEBcVY/s200/IMG_3946.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I think, for being a rookie at labor and delivery, that I began the process of labor on Sunday night, November 15th. That night I began to lose my mucus plug. I won't share too many details it was just very apparent to me that things were different and I felt different than before. Can't really say how, but I felt like man maybe he could come any day now. I told myself though that it couldn't be and that I didn't want to psyche myself out and it all be false labor. So Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I worked as usual and did normal daily things like grocery shop, etc. Wednesday morning I felt very different, like crampy and achy, but not bad, so I went to work for the day. As I drove I just prayed and asked the Lord to get me through that day by His strength! I took the girls to the library, doing the normal daily things that I would usually do with Elizabeth and Sarah, the girls that I nanny for. As the day rolled along I began to have cramps, like period cramps, around 1pm. It struck me as funny but again I was like okay this could be false labor, and really I thought I don't know what labor feels like. Well I drove home at 2:30 and the cramps were stronger and five to six minutes between them. I called Melissa and asked her what a contraction felt like... and she told me to call the hospital. LOL!!! I did call the OB nurse at the hospital and she told me that I was probably in early labor. So I checked my email, and did things around the house, having cramps all throughout and laboring and breathing through them in the most comfortable ways I could find. Min got home at 4:45pm and I greeted him at our garage door saying that we probably were going to have a baby in the next 24 hours. He jumped into the shower and began packing things we would need. I told him that I needed to do laundry, so I threw a load in and then I wanted to take a bath before we actually made our way to the hospital. I guess I was just not wanting to rush to the hospital and them tell us that I was 2cm dilated and then we had a long night ahead of us walking the halls of labor and delivery. So I ran a bath and got in, this was the most comfortable way for me to go through contractions. While I was in the bath my water broke and this was the last straw per se that told us we should head to the hospital. Also Min said while I was in the bath that he felt my contractions were closer than five minutes apart. I agreed and in the next 20 minutes or so we made our way out the house and headed to the hospital.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbtxondyNI/AAAAAAAAAMg/-6K0Axfl1v4/s1600-h/IMG_3942.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275665450483435730" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbtxondyNI/AAAAAAAAAMg/-6K0Axfl1v4/s200/IMG_3942.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbuVkzle1I/AAAAAAAAAMo/ZmZf-W6gNSQ/s1600-h/IMG_3955.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275666067935820626" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbuVkzle1I/AAAAAAAAAMo/ZmZf-W6gNSQ/s200/IMG_3955.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbvFkLfKOI/AAAAAAAAAMw/Y0aNOblQZhM/s1600-h/IMG_3980.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5275666892401354978" style="WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/STbvFkLfKOI/AAAAAAAAAMw/Y0aNOblQZhM/s200/IMG_3980.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div>We live about ten minutes from the hospital and as I had contractions during that drive, I counted then every two minutes as I tried to concentrate through them. As we arrived at the hospital we parked the car and headed to the second floor labor and delivery. Min checked me in because right away the nurses scooped me into a room and had me change and lay down to monitor Ayden and my contractions. The checked me and said I was 6 to 7 cm dilated. Min came and was again right by my side through every contraction, allowing my to grip his hand and sweatshirt as I went in and out of contractions. I told the nurses at this time that I felt the urge to push and they checked me again and I was already at a 10 in dilation. They told me that I was ready to push but we had to wait for the doctor to get there. Dr. Fishburne was the doctor that delivered Ayden and he was on call that evening. He got there within minutes of me reaching full dilation and he checked my charts and began to allow me to push as my contractions came. He was a good doctor and told me to use all of my energy to push and not yell. I was letting all my steam out with yelling. LOL!! I was embarrassed after the fact, but during you really can't get through without making any noise. But with what he said I had something to focus on and Min was a great coach to me as I would push Min would remind me not to yell but push with everything in me. Within five contractions, which accounted for about thirty minutes of pushing, Ayden James Ho had arrived!!!! They placed him on my chest as Min cut the cord and we admired the miracle that God has blessed us with and trusted to us!! Shortly after they cleaned him all up and weighed him, measured his length and head. We have made our way to the mountains north of Charlotte and were able to see the beauty of God changing seasons literally right before our eyes!! It was a great day trip or us to just take time and see the beauty. The pictures are at the bottom of this blog entry... I uploaded them backwards. :) We decided as we drove that next year we would really like to head a little more north and spend some time in Virginia, where we have heard the leaves and colors are just unreal!!! But we were blessed to see the trees here and the amazing clouds too as you will see below!!</div><div>We were truly blessed to have our good friend Christiane FOX come and stay with us for almost a week!! She is heading to Sudan to be a Missionary there, hopefully sooner than later. You can check out her blog and her heart by clicking on the link to her <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">webpage</span> here on our site. She is truly a blessing to my life. God has crossed our paths originally at <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Briercrest</span> Bible College about eight years ago and we have met up here and there along our journeys since then. She was able to fly here and share with our church, as well as the kids we work with weekly at <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">AWANA</span>. God had given her a heart for the people of Africa and He has opened the doors through a ministry called SIM to get her over there to use her nursing skills to bless people in the Name and love of Jesus Christ!! You will see pictures of her and I below at our annual Fall Festival at Mount Harmony! She was a blessing to have with us for a short while and I know that the people who spoke with her and met her were blessed as well!! We look forward to seeing how the Lord is going to use her in Doro, Sudan. If you know her, or even if you don't, please pray for her safety and that God will get her there finance wise when He wills!!</div><div>Below too you will see pictures of kids all dressed up who attended our Fall Festival at church this year! We dressed <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Ayden</span> up as a little pumpkin the best that we could... people thought he was a cute pumpkin, and we did too!!!! We had a great time with all the kids that attended, the pictures that I posted are of some of the girls we have in our <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">AWANA</span> class, they were just too cute for words!! All the kids had their faces painted and well it was tempting to me to go get my face painted too!! I caved in and at the end of the night I got it painted!! It was one of those things that I just had to do...reliving childhood. :) </div><div>Lastly, the pictures right below here are of Min and I carving our pumpkins this year!! We did them a few days before Halloween and they actually made it this year without rotting... that happened t us last year. :) Min carved the Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus pumpkin, and I did Jesus praying and the little pumpkin for <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Ayden</span> with a funny face. We had fun, we did not do them free hand, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">haha</span>. We are not that talented, but even when they are traced it is still tricky to carve out the small details!! Min is way better than me, he always does a great job on them!!!</div><div>Well we hope this finds you doing well!!! We have less than 30 days until <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">Ayden</span> is due to arrive!! We are excited and are feeling more and more ready to meet our son! Can't believe that we are already into November, time is doing it's normal job of going too fast right before our eyes!</div><div>We are looking forward to a restful month ahead... we will see how that turns out :) One week from today I go to the doctor for a physical exam and that in when they will tell me more details about where we are standing labor and delivery wise... and hopefully they will have a better guesstimate of how big <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">Ayden</span> will be when he arrives!! We will see, we just pray for a safe labor and delivery and a healthy baby boy!!!! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers and we look forward to hearing for you all and soon <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">introducing</span> our son to you!!!! Love from us to you!!!<br /><br /></div><div> <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SQ8n7wIufMI/AAAAAAAAALg/fg5uQ_PEXxk/s1600-h/IMG_3819.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5264470396906667202" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SQ8n7wIufMI/AAAAAAAAALg/fg5uQ_PEXxk/s200/IMG_3819.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SQ8oYOkei9I/AAAAAAAAALo/p0J70ciEW4g/s1600-h/IMG_3823.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5264470886112463826" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SQ8oYOkei9I/AAAAAAAAALo/p0J70ciEW4g/s200/IMG_3823.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SQ8o1oxp0NI/AAAAAAAAALw/PVSvrnFSJb8/s1600-h/IMG_3839.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5264471391363256530" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SQ8o1oxp0NI/AAAAAAAAALw/PVSvrnFSJb8/s200/IMG_3839.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Here is our carving process and the end result of our fun pumpkins!!!! Sorry that it has now been over a month since we have taken the chance to blog. We have had busy weeks and time just seems to be flying by right in front of our eyes. I cannot believe that there is seven weeks until Ayden's due date!! We are getting more excited with everyday!! I am feeling more and more ready as he grows and takes up even more room in my abdomen. I feel sometimes that he is bruising my ribs with his little feet. :) Good thing I can gently move him some when he is poking out in funny spots. Yesterday I had a 33 week doctor appointment and once again they assured me that everything is looking normal and that my uterus is measuring very normal as well. I asked the doctor if he could guess his weight and he said they don't tell until closer to his due date... but measuring average by the books means Ayden is 4.4 pounds right now!! Crazy to think in the next few week he will gain a half a pound a week, and I will as well!! :)</p><p align="center">Below are a few updated pictures of my belly and how it is growing out of control!! I feel so big compared to how I was nine months ago but everyone here, even strangers, comment on how small and compact I am carrying him. It is funny to have strangers comment on your body, but I guess this prepares me for people making comments about Ayden after he is born. There are times when I will lay on my side and my whole stomach will shift because of his movements. It is a really fun and amazing time to be carrying him. It just amazes me the certain things that are a part of pregnancy and God creating a little baby!! I am thankful though as each week passes that he has longer in my womb to develop and be ready for all the things of this world.</p><p align="center">Min and I are enjoying our days together before Ayden arrives. Min has been working longer hours than we are used to, but we are just thankful for the job that God has given him to be the provider for our family! As the Fall leaves change we are hoping to make a trip, even a day trip, to the mountains here and take in the beauty of God's creation, and He makes the leaves change form green to vibrant yellow, orange and red!! Hopefully we will have pictures to share sooner than later. :)</p><p align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSmKaGaaeI/AAAAAAAAAIo/KqLfEkDgcFw/s1600-h/32+weeks8.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5257009362783332834" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSmKaGaaeI/AAAAAAAAAIo/KqLfEkDgcFw/s200/32+weeks8.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><div align="center">Here is me at 32 weeks pregnant :)<br /></div><p align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSljZJUHDI/AAAAAAAAAIg/Mr0NrZSbgPQ/s1600-h/32+weeks11.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5257008692512169010" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSljZJUHDI/AAAAAAAAAIg/Mr0NrZSbgPQ/s200/32+weeks11.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></p><p align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSetrhB7oI/AAAAAAAAAIY/gJJ1n_e6x_4/s1600-h/32+weeks4.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5257001172660776578" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSetrhB7oI/AAAAAAAAAIY/gJJ1n_e6x_4/s200/32+weeks4.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><div align="center">My tummy looks a little pointed to me with a shirt on.</div><div align="center"><br /><br />Below are some changes we have made to Ayden's room, we painted letters for his name and hung them, as well as a little coat rack that will hold hats and bath towels and coats too :) Min and I love the San Francisco Giants, and this little hat I got for him when I was back home in May before we found out we were having a boy... we would have put it one a little girl too!! :) We also took the doors off of his closet and put up simple curtains to make his room seem and feel bigger. I think it worked well. We are slowly but surely continuing to prepare his room. It is getting there!! :)<br /></div><p align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSeBIMtWhI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/md3Z6lE2JKI/s1600-h/IMG_3519.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5257000407266056722" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSeBIMtWhI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/md3Z6lE2JKI/s200/IMG_3519.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSdiRtB_uI/AAAAAAAAAII/GGov6VKIMIY/s1600-h/IMG_3485.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256999877241601762" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SPSdiRtB_uI/AAAAAAAAAII/GGov6VKIMIY/s200/IMG_3485.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="center">We love and miss you all and pray that this finds you doing well!! The family that I work for has been so generous to us and given us books, and maternity clothes, as well as a three drawer dresser that we are going to use as his changing table! We have put his crib up and his mattress came today so we put his bed together with the bedding I found some months ago at a garage sale. As we continue to put his room together we will share photos of the process and final end product before he arrives!!<br /></div><div align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm71O-ciII/AAAAAAAAAHs/SqgPWqaY8eQ/s1600-h/IMG_3482.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244929764277127298" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm71O-ciII/AAAAAAAAAHs/SqgPWqaY8eQ/s200/IMG_3482.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm8aP4aStI/AAAAAAAAAH0/BGOU3d69Rek/s1600-h/IMG_3483.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244930400175409874" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm8aP4aStI/AAAAAAAAAH0/BGOU3d69Rek/s200/IMG_3483.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm9pBxGUeI/AAAAAAAAAH8/Xw_rcTMZPA4/s1600-h/IMG_3486.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244931753596309986" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm9pBxGUeI/AAAAAAAAAH8/Xw_rcTMZPA4/s200/IMG_3486.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">We have yet to put his name on the wall and hang some shelves... if you have any cute ideas feel free to share!!!</div><div align="center">Love from us!!!</div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-2288659839793000282008-09-11T17:04:00.000-07:002008-09-11T17:33:37.029-07:00And we're in the home stretch!!Min and I are overjoyed and kind of nervous too as we enter the last trimester of our pregnancy. I think that I (Kimmy) may be the one who holds nervousness, just about labor and delivery, you knows the new experiences I may have as Ayden enters the world! We had a doctor appointment on Sept. 2nd and we found out that Ayden is already head down which the doctor said was a good thing, because he knows the way out. Haha. We just hope and pray that he stays head down and for an overall smooth delivery!! We are very much looking forward to the next twelve weeks passing with quickness as we anticipate meeting Ayden!! I am in my 28th week, and Ayden is probably about 2.5 pounds give or take a little. He feels to me like he has grown so much because I can feel him move on both sides of my stomach now, where before there would only be movement in one area. He is just beginning to run out of room... but still moves around like crazy. Min is sometimes kind of freaked out by how strong his movements are from just laying his hand on my belly. He is strong that is forsure sometimes he moves in a way that shocks me some. It will be interesting to see how active of a boy he is when he is born. :)<br /><br />Overall we are doing well here in NC, we are anticipating the humidity to end here soon, as the leaves show changes from Summer to Fall. Fall and Spring here are just so beautiful, we will post some pictures this Fall of the beauty that we are blessed to see daily!! Min is working hard daily as he always does!! It has really been neat for us to see over the past year how the Lord has provided for us, in all ways, and just dwell some on His faithfulness to us as His children!! This past Wednesday, Sept. 10th we began AWANAS, we work with the Sparks who are 5, 6, and 7 year olds and we are looking forward to another fun year with these kids as they work hard to memorize verses from the Bible! We look forward to one day when Ayden will be in this program and to what he will learn about God from studying His Word at a young age. It always amazes me to watch a child that cannot read learn a whole verse and know it in his/her heart before they are taught to read words! Kids are like little sponges!! We will also share with you pictures of the kids in our posts to come. :)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div align="center">Here are some pictures of my belly recently and in the past weeks</div><br /><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm2KXhuuRI/AAAAAAAAAHc/WL2TTHLrICQ/s1600-h/IMG_3471.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244923530280089874" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm2KXhuuRI/AAAAAAAAAHc/WL2TTHLrICQ/s200/IMG_3471.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><br /><br /><div align="center">26 weeks </div><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm4ZjpTY6I/AAAAAAAAAHk/11bMcjhEujk/s1600-h/28+weeks1.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244925990254371746" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SMm4ZjpTY6I/AAAAAAAAAHk/11bMcjhEujk/s200/28+weeks1.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="center">28 weeks</p><br /><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><br /><div align="center"></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-57178252806589442952008-08-22T06:03:00.000-07:002008-08-22T06:34:30.363-07:00Ayden's Room !!!!!<div><div><div><div>Well Min has been working really hard on getting Ayden's room ready as we only have fifteen weeks or so until we get to meet our son! Min has done such a great job and put his personal carpentry touch on his room already with much hard work!!! Before we left for Washington DC Min worked three nights preping and painting Ayden's room. We are both thankful that our house was nicely painted and we did not have to apply paint to the other parts of our home, for painting and all the prep involved is hard work. :) But I am SO thankful that it is done and I absolutely love the way it turned out!! We are in process of putting his crib up and getting it all ready to go. These are pictures of the paint job and we will post more as we fill his room in preparation for his arrival!!<br /><br /></div><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK677-VJk7I/AAAAAAAAAG8/tiCef6Qzkd4/s1600-h/IMG_3448.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237330055696847794" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK677-VJk7I/AAAAAAAAAG8/tiCef6Qzkd4/s200/IMG_3448.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK68wbnnRvI/AAAAAAAAAHE/EP6ikSD8NsM/s1600-h/IMG_3460.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237330956912117490" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK68wbnnRvI/AAAAAAAAAHE/EP6ikSD8NsM/s200/IMG_3460.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK68wbnnRvI/AAAAAAAAAHE/EP6ikSD8NsM/s1600-h/IMG_3460.JPG"></a> </p><p align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK695TwoLkI/AAAAAAAAAHM/XBkPHDW_pgQ/s1600-h/IMG_3454.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237332208932892226" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK695TwoLkI/AAAAAAAAAHM/XBkPHDW_pgQ/s200/IMG_3454.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK7AGEywF8I/AAAAAAAAAHU/ozqh5wXoYCs/s1600-h/IMG_3455.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237334627276822466" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK7AGEywF8I/AAAAAAAAAHU/ozqh5wXoYCs/s200/IMG_3455.JPG" border="0" /></a></p></div></div></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-87158837612723139132008-08-21T08:17:00.000-07:002008-08-21T10:28:23.994-07:00Washington D.C. celebrating one year of marriage!!!!Hello there...<br /><br />Well we are back from our time in Washington DC and feel that we are getting energy back with each day. We had a wonderful time there and saw many many things, but the travel and the walking we did while we were there tired us out like no other. :) We were supposed to be in DC on Thursday late afternoon, and after sitting in the Charlotte Airport we were told that our flight was canceled...not a encouraging thing to find out. So we went home and got up Friday morning and headed to the Charlotte airport in hopes that the flight that day would take off... and it did!!!! We arrived in DC around 10am and were to our hotel and settled by 1pm. The first day we walked a total of seven or eight miles. We really didn't know where we were going, but we followed maps as well as we could and finally made it to the White House and "The Mall", that is what they call the area where all the important buildings are. :) We were enjoying our time and not feeling the pain in our legs and feet until we had to make the walk back that evening... we had yet to find the metro. In the first day we saw the White House, The Smithsonian, The Air and Space Museum, The Natural History Museum, The Capital, and we saw the Washington Monument but didn't go into it until another day. Here are a few pictures along the way...<br /><br /><p align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2Jz63YlwI/AAAAAAAAAFM/9nZIi4yM-8g/s1600-h/IMG_3212.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5236993466769643266" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2Jz63YlwI/AAAAAAAAAFM/9nZIi4yM-8g/s320/IMG_3212.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></p><p align="center">The White House<br /></p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5236999596161173170" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2PYsoNBrI/AAAAAAAAAFs/_3bLOeQwkIQ/s320/IMG_3219.JPG" border="0" /><br /></p><p align="center">Min on Constitution Ave. in front of the Washington Monument<br /></p><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2M38mOjPI/AAAAAAAAAFc/VUlVKYuQGmQ/s1600-h/IMG_3225.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5236996834488913138" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2M38mOjPI/AAAAAAAAAFc/VUlVKYuQGmQ/s320/IMG_3225.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div align="center">The Smithsonian Castle<br /></div><div align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2OjpK2slI/AAAAAAAAAFk/X_MhraU75PY/s1600-h/IMG_3234.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5236998684699701842" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SK2OjpK2slI/AAAAAAAAAFk/X_MhraU75PY/s320/IMG_3234.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div align="center">The Air and Space Museum<br /></div>Saturday, the second day we headed in the same direction as the day before, walking again. Haha. we got our exercise this trip that is a fact!! We visited the Holocaust Museum and ate some lunch. We then took a short break and went back to our hotel to nap... on our way back we discovered the amazing Metro that takes you everywhere by underground train!! We used this tool the rest of our time in DC to travel not by foot anymore :) That evening we went on a drive to Georgetown and to Arlington Cemetery as well as the Jefferson Memorial and the Iwo Jima Memorial. We were getting a feel for what we wanted to see the next day.<br /><br />Sunday, we got up early and stood in line for Washington Monument tickets. While in line I was starving, feeling a little faint, and really nothing was open around that area at 8am, not food wise. All we had in our backpack was some red licorice I had bought for Min and I was hesitant at first to eat that as people were all around us... but as time drew on and I was sure that we would not have "breakfast" for awhile longer I broke out the red vines and at them hoping that people in line around us didn't think I was crazy for eating not a nutritious breakfast as I stood there visibly pregnant!! Haha it was a funny morning. :) Sunday was our last full day in DC and we did again a lot of things. We visited the Lincoln Memorial, this was my favorite!! We saw the WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, Iwo Jima Memorial, and the last thing we did that day was take out tour of the Washington Monument at night, when everything was lit up. It was beautiful and really amazing how much history is in such a small area in DC. We were blessed as well to have lunch and dinner with good friends we had not seen in awhile. For lunch we met up with Harry Howard (he was in our wedding) and Katrina!! They brought us to this yummy chili restaurant and we were well fed to say the least. :) And for dinner we met up with Lindsey and Ceddie Rath, friends from High school!! They took us to a great restaurant as well, it was called Matchbox, it was great pizza and good times of hanging out!! We were blessed to be able to spend some of our time with people who are living near the DC area and able to show us around some!!<br /><br /><br />Overall our trip was great, it was not physically relaxing but we really felt fortunate to be able to see the history that resides within our Country!! Not that being pregnant is bad but Min and I both are SO excited to meet the son that the Lord has given us! I was telling Min the other day I just can't wait to kiss his little cheeks and watch his personality develop as he grows! We are more than excited to meet this little boy that has lately been kicking up a storm. :) A few nights ago I was woken up at four in the morning, starving, which was a first for me. I ate a granola bar and drank some milk in hopes that is would sooth Ayden as he moved around rapidly in my belly. He was hungry and he was letting me know by not letting me sleep. :) As I have read more and more I guess it is very common to wake up hungry at night as the baby grows. And in the 23rd week Ayden has grown four ounces in one week so he is making me more and more hungry as the days go on. :) I know this is another way that God prepares the mom to be woken up in the night, because when Ayden gets here I have to be ready to not sleep solid nights for at least the first few months. God and the way that He has designed pregnancy just amazes me time and time again!!<br /><br />Min and I am planning on heading to Washington D.C. this weekend, we will leave Thursday after work and return home on our Anniversary the 18th! We are very excited for this trip, as neither of us has ever been before and it is just going to be a blessing to get away for a weekend together!! Be looking for pictures in a few weeks. :) As we both reflect on the last year, there is a part of us that feels as though time has flown by, but we also feel that we have enjoyed the days and months together! We have been blessed to watch the Lord continue to provide for us time and time again and we are thankful for His presence throughout our marriage and our entire lives!!<br /><br />Min has began to work on Ayden's room; we decided to put a chair rail up and paint the room a different color than was originally there. We are still in the process of painting and Min has done a great job putting the chair rail up! God has blessed me with a very handy man and I am thankful that he desires to work hard and takes good care of me!! There will be pictures soon too of Ayden's room!!<br /><br />Here are a few updated pictures of my belly as it grows, some of the pictures are taken just before bed, so excuse me for looking tired!! I feel like my belly is stretching for sure and I am going to begin putting cream on daily to hopefully avoid stretch marks, we will see how that works. :) We are feeling more and more settled in our home as we hang more pictures on the walls and have guest over more and more. We are so thankful for the home that the Lord has given us and we want you to know that we can't wait to have more of our family and friends visit from time to time! :)<br /><br />You can see how from the first picture, taken at night, my belly is bigger than the last picture, a week later, taken in the mid afternoon. :)<br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBph62WW4I/AAAAAAAAAEs/kYlor38_4pk/s1600-h/22+weeks9.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233298798458329986" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBph62WW4I/AAAAAAAAAEs/kYlor38_4pk/s320/22+weeks9.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /></div><div align="center">22 weeks and five days</div><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBqU2boz3I/AAAAAAAAAE0/SRDBSDR_ehY/s1600-h/23+weeks1.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233299673445879666" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBqU2boz3I/AAAAAAAAAE0/SRDBSDR_ehY/s320/23+weeks1.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><br /><br /><br /><div align="center">23 weeks 5 days</div><br /><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBrHqO3AtI/AAAAAAAAAE8/imvH-MvPO6w/s1600-h/23+weeks3.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233300546344387282" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBrHqO3AtI/AAAAAAAAAE8/imvH-MvPO6w/s320/23+weeks3.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><br /><br /><div align="center">23 weeks 5 days</div><p align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBr0DQz06I/AAAAAAAAAFE/U7PMuE7VhZA/s1600-h/23+weeks4.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233301308977697698" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBr0DQz06I/AAAAAAAAAFE/U7PMuE7VhZA/s320/23+weeks4.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="center">23 weeks 5 days</p><br /><br /><div align="center"></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1660108422910252097.post-47681786641045287542008-08-11T08:44:00.000-07:002008-08-11T09:45:34.854-07:00First House Guests!!Hello there family and friends!!<br /><br />We pray that this finds each of you doing well! We have not been on to write anything in a few weeks; we have been busy with friends that came to visit from Minnesota and just other daily things like getting Ayden's room ready!!! And we are going to Washington D.C. for our Anniversary which we are very excited about!!!!<br /><br />Our good friends Clint, Amanda and their daughter Addie McAlpine came to visit us on a spontaneous weekend trip. They drove 21 long hours here and 20 long hours back! They are not rookie road-trippers. :) We were blessed to have them here and have them meet some of the friends that God has given to us here! The last time that we saw Clint, Amanda and Addie was at our wedding in 08-07 so it was really good to catch up with them and just be able to spend time with one another! Their little girl Addie is adorable she will be fifteen months soon and she kept us smiling and laughing. I am sure that she is going to start talking really soon; she was just a joy to have around. Here are a few pictures of their time her and of Addie in her cuteness!!<br /><p align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBiKKnwVzI/AAAAAAAAAEc/VbYh03P4W1Q/s1600-h/IMG_3143.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233290693793830706" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBiKKnwVzI/AAAAAAAAAEc/VbYh03P4W1Q/s320/IMG_3143.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBhC6bShzI/AAAAAAAAAEU/XSJ2qdye36Y/s1600-h/IMG_3140.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233289469675865906" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBhC6bShzI/AAAAAAAAAEU/XSJ2qdye36Y/s320/IMG_3140.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBjxdJixrI/AAAAAAAAAEk/64FUAzlhi5Q/s1600-h/IMG_3166.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5233292468293912242" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SKBjxdJixrI/AAAAAAAAAEk/64FUAzlhi5Q/s320/IMG_3166.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p align="left">We are excited to spend time with the McAlpine's again when we head to Minnesota for the Desiring God conference at the end of September!! Just wanted to give you a quick update with some pictures of my growing belly. :) Today we measure at 20 weeks and 5 days, and the pictures you see were taken today. We just got done this last week with doing Vacation Bible School at church; we worked with the five year old kids and they kept us busy and laughing!! We had a great and busy week filled with many memories!! Overall I (Kimmy) am feeling well; Ayden has been moving more and more. I think he has been moving all along he is just now big enough for me to feel it more often, which is different and fun too! I have been asking Min time and time again to place his hand on my stomach so that he could feel Ayden move, and time and time again he felt nothing... until last night!! We were laying in bed and Ayden was moving really strong so I placed Min's hand on my tummy and he felt Ayden move I think twice!!! It was fun to finally have him feel the baby move!! The lady that I nanny for is due in just about a month from now and I am looking <a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SIPduMGVd3I/AAAAAAAAAEE/0KRWhltSOVI/s1600-h/20+weeks3.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225263778271426418" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SIPduMGVd3I/AAAAAAAAAEE/0KRWhltSOVI/s320/20+weeks3.JPG" border="0" /></a>forward to having two little girls to take care of in the coming months before Ayden arrives! Okay well we pray that this finds each of you doing well and that you have blessed days ahead! We love and miss you and are thankful for your lives and friendships!!!<a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SIPdGHlGhgI/AAAAAAAAAD8/26tWPvO6ZGs/s1600-h/20+weeks2.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225263089863525890" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_8IDbJGYqnRA/SIPdGHlGhgI/AAAAAAAAAD8/26tWPvO6ZGs/s320/20+weeks2.JPG" border="0" /></a></div></div></div>Min and Kimmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15964168470830922633noreply@blogger.com2
